This is a tear-shaped frame with a control balance, built from 12K carbon over an average-density EVA core. A tear shape sits between a diamond and a round head: it keeps some weight up top for pace while pulling the sweet spot down closer to centre, so the head is not as demanding as a full diamond. Control balance moves that further toward manageability, putting less mass out at the tip. The face is listed as textured, which adds bite for slice and spin rather than a flat, skidding contact.
